Whether you are a seasoned photographer looking to expand your portfolio or a beginner eager to learn the ropes, my tours and workshops cater to photographers of all skill levels. With a deep understanding of the behavior and habitats of various bird and wildlife species, I ensure that every outing is filled with exciting encounters and opportunities to capture unforgettable moments. I have led photo safari for wildlife, birds, landscape, culture and travel photography for over 19 years. From the vast plains of Africa to the lush rainforests of Southeast Asia, the diverse ecosystems of North and Central America, and the vibrant landscapes of South America, my tours offer unparalleled opportunities for you to capture stunning images of nature and wildlife.
My premier goal is for each photographer to improve they photography skill and return home with some amazing pictures. Join me on one of my photo tours or workshops and embark on a journey that will not only improve your photography skills but also leave you with a collection of extraordinary images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
My photo tours and workshops are limited to 8 to 10 photographers. We use top English speaking local guides and naturalist for each area. I currently offering workshop to Costa Rica and Africa, Morocco 2025 Cuba 2026. check out the the complete itinerary of the photo safari you are interested in going on see what you will learn. Tips and tricks are learned in the field. Experience has taught me that its hard to learn natural lighting, best angles. composition, and how to make an emotional connection with the subject in a classroom. a short briefing is given the night before so you will know what gear to begin with you for the next day adventure. Each evening during happy hour we will have an image review of 3 to 5 images you took the day before and have a conversation about the days photos usually with your favorite drink in hand before dinner. Past participant have told us it was a little scary at first, but was one of the best learning experience ever.
